Howdy /k/, been a while, how the hell are ya?

Looking to move to Eastern TN sometime this year from Canada. Dual citizen so plan on owning plenty.

I'm looking for input on AR brands which would save some time and effort achieving a specific build, as well as some input on the DS Arms FALs.

My AR build:
-Full length, heavy/bull barrel w/ full length gas tube (or a GP setup, however I'm not aware of any rifle length GP systems)

-Good trigger, doesn't have to be a Geiselle but preferably better than milspec

-Fixed buttstock (open to suggestions for collapsibles, but I need confidence it wouldn't break at full extension after a butt strike, as I would with a fixed)

-Obviously staked and loctited gas keys. Haven't done much research into BCGs or any coatings, but technical data would be appreciated

-Sights need to be metal, and would prefer integral, but willing to compromise. Considering the A2 upper receiver w/ carry handle sights. Are there many carry handle mounted optics on the market?

-Forged upper and lower receivers

Also, any input on bipod adapters (to MLOK, Keymod, etc) and the DS Arms FALs would be highly appreciated.
