They are my favorite arm. I've been a shotgunner for over two decades and done hunting and trap competitions. I've owned around thirty to forty different ones over the years. Currently I have six, most in 12. One 20 and one .410

I recommend a Mossy 500 FLEX or whatever variant trips your trigger. I got two FLEXs at Wal-Mart during their fire sale for $250 and they seem to be a good value at around $300-$350 for their normal price.

Have not shot them though due to recent surgery, but they're Mossbergs...

I have a Mossberg 930 hunting model and I like it better than my Remington 11-87 12ga. The Mossberg is lighter, has a four pound trigger break compared to the six and seven lbs trigger breaks that is becoming common in other brands, and is a lower price.

I've got a tactical model and the field model as well. Awesome guns, outstanding price.

It's a shame that slug changeovers are a pain in the dick compared to pump-actions, but what can you do.
