More to do with the Pentagon thinking that the YF-22 would be easier to navalize than the YF-23 (which would need a completely different airframe design) and some quirky missile loading characteristics. Other than those two quirks and its unconventional appearance, the YF-23 was the better aircraft.

computer working the controls thought it was flying in a way it really wasn't. caused it to pull up too hard and stall. pilots couldn't tell the computer to nose down.

pre flight checks did not take into consideration the change in climate. normally the B-2s operate from the American Mid West and not a humid tropical island.

YF-23 also couldn't handle g's with missiles loaded because of the forward missile bay taking up the space that would normally have a support structure.

Literally anything that successfully approaches it could shoot it down. Successfully approaching one is a hell of a trick, because it requires you to notice its presence and survive anything that's defending it. Neither task is trivial.

The F-117 was shot down by an antiquated SAM system because they knew where it was and just waited for it to open its bomb doors.

The same could be done with a B-2. Like submarines, stealth bombers rely on their location and movements being kept a secret at all times, else they become easy prey - being stealthy doesn't mean that a bogey that knows your flight plan won't be able to engage you. Locking a stealth aircraft is trivial once you know where it is.
