Can you just buy a G20 barrel and drop it in there? The subcompacts always fuck with me, but if you just did that and got a 15-rounder and an extended grip cover on it, there's not much reason to buy a G20. I'd say this is pretty versatile, great job OP.

So, can you do the same thing with a 26 and a 17 barrel?

No, I don't think you can swap a G20 barrel into a g29. Not that you'd want to either, for hunting purposes with hardcast lead rounds, you want a traditional rifled barrel, not a glock oem polygonal rifled barrel.

The Glock 30 can do everything you listed, as well as run .45ACP and .45 super, along with 10mm, 40S&W, 357sig, and others.

The G29 handles 10mm full power rounds surprisingly well.

A G20 mag with a spacer (or without) works just fine, and the recoil is very manageable.
