The fact that any JSOC/SMU element was on scene tells me that they were there as an assault force and the fact that one of them was killed seems to only confirm that, plus the fact that the operation would be highly sensitive to failure and would be an embarrassment and a loss for U.S. intelligence if it did. For that reason alone I imagine the DoD wanted a JSOC unit on scene to control it as much as possible.
>It didn't sound like anyone in that video was speaking english.Like I said, nobody in that video was American, and since the video cuts in while they're in an already burning and rubble filled prison (who knows what they cut from that footage for OPSEC though) it would hint to me that someone already cleared parts of that building and did the heavy lifting.
