A bulge in the crotch is less likely to get stared at by other men and can be joked into not being suspicious very easily if you aren't a sperg. You're also not likely to get bumped there or have it felt if some chick hugs you or whatever. Try not to use standing latrines, go to the stall, less likely to be noticed. If carrying at 4'oclock and someone feels it, claim it's a back brace for an accident that left an embarassing scar and leave.
If someone legit notices the bulge/feel of object and is curious, find a reason to leave, and get it off you.
In my case if someone did see it I'd immediately leave campus, get it into my car, and deny everything. Again, it's not illegal where I live, so I only have to deal with administrative problems. If asked, I'd say I got scared and upset when I heard people say something about someone with a gun and wanted to make sure I wasn't around for a shooting or whatever. Then don't carry if you're under any kind of suspicion. If you have a deep appendix carry and someone in the school admin tried to force you to show it, claim sexism/sexual harassment, shit even claim that you're a victim of homophobia or whatever other speshul snowflake victim status that will make them quit in fear of a lawsuit, just don't let them see the gun.
Think about what things could happen to fuck you over in your situation and have a plan so you aren't caught flat footed if something does come up.
