I bought a CZ 455 Varmint thumbhole a while back with a .22LR and .17HMR barrel. Before now i'd been torqueing the action screws hand tight and no problems. However I recently checked the manual and it specifies 3NM for the action screws however when I began torqueing this it was beggining to deform the bottom metal. Is this a bad torque screw or just a very high torque setting?
