I'm looking to get a bolt action in either .300WM for large game hunting (deer, moose, caribou, elk etc etc) and I'm looking for something that's got high value. I don't wanna get a .308 because I feel that if I wanted to get a .308 I'd get a semi-auto like an M1A, and I don't wanna go much bigger than .300WM because then ammo starts getting expensive, and harder to find.
I've basically narrowed my choices down to:
Remington 700
Winchester Model 70
Ruger M77
Savage 110
As far as I can tell reading reviews, it really doesn't matter WHICH one I get because nobody as far as I can tell from reading reviews, ever says anything bad about any of them really. They're all really accurate, they're all really well made, and they're all pretty durable. Anybody here have any experience with one or more of them?
