I was watching IV8888 and now I want a g98. What's the cheapest Mauser I can get, and where can I found one?

Google isn't yielding me any results outside of gunbroker.

Yeah, it was cool. And it's funny because a fun years ago they did another gewehr 98 video that doesn't very good, and eric decided to redo it because he made a lot of dumb mistakes. So you can see they tried extra hard here

Try the vz. 98/22. They might not come from the Mauser factory, but they the closest clone with as much quality as german G98s, without the price bump for the Mauser stamp.

The Czechoslovakians had obtained warehouses full of G98 parts, so they started production at Brno by putting together rifles from these parts. When their supply ran out, they started to make their own parts, tweaked the design more in line with the short rifle philosophy, and called the result the vz. 24.
