As the lads said, melee. Keep a baseball bat or something at home (hell my flatmate got a machete stored under his bed I think), axes, anything you like.
Mace, I personally dont like it but whatever.
>German laws so guns will be difficult for some time.>for some timeSo you're working on it I guess? Jäger or Sportschütze?
In case you aren't, those are your two (main) options to become Kraut mitWaffen, hazGunz.
Jäger (licensed hunter for yall yanks) means some months of lessons and an (allegedly) pretty tough exam, Abitur-level shit. Takes some work but - up to 3 iirc pistols/revolvers and as many long guns (shotguns/rifles) as you can afford (within the usual laws, i.e. no full giggle, less than fiddy cal, and at least one mag capped at ten rounds).
Sportshooter is less "work" but takes a bit longer and is a bit more restricted. Join a shooting club (or found one, but legal bullshit probably applies) be member for a year, let the club certify your "need" for guns, buy them. 2 or 3 pistols/revolvers (not exactly sure) and max 10 long guns (i think). also you technically need a sport shooting discipline for each of your guns, but theres looots of disciplines. you dont need to actually hit anything, just take part in the competition, I think. also the usual laws, see above.
Want to conceal carry?
Inform yourself about the KWS, kleiner Waffenschein. Schreckschusswaffen (blank guns probably), mace guns (yup thats a thing), I think rubber bullets as well (not sure) can be bought over the counter if you have one of those - get them at your local police station for 55€ (approx).
Thats our best bet.
CCing actual guns - baaaad idea. Unless you're a criminal anyway, in which case, meh.
Dont join the nazis. Or the pegida faggets, or the like.
So much for advice.
