A long time ago I seen a very cool looking gun that I think was in a home made weapons thread.
It looked like beautiful shiny steel and had a lovely locking mechanism where I think it was a one shot breech loaded thing.

Was wondering if anyone had the image saved?

Need moar homemade weapons and how to make them, especially things that don't use bullets.

Bows.

You can make a no-frills one out of PVC if you need to.

Also, you can make pretty nice arrow heads by flattening nails with a hammer.

I think in the picture the breech is open, making the hammer look too low. When the breech is locked it should be in the right place.
