Nope, that'd be a big ole load of bull crap. Midwest NuggetFest went flawlessly. With the exception of a few minor injuries like a hand shut in a car door and finger singed by a smoke bomb we had 0 major incidents. No one got shot, no one took shrapnel and no one passed out.

We did have the very first LEO visit in NuggetFests history. A concerned neighbor said "It sounds like WWII over there." (referring to our range) Which I took as a compliment. The two responding Officers were total bros. One really looked like he wanted to stay and shoot some of our sweet firearms and the had a look of "Wow, these guys have more firepower than our whole county."

Yeah, they told me the sheriff showed up, which caused them to leave, because they saw it ending badly I guess, and they said as they were going down the roads, a few suburbans were all speeding to the site.

I think they're in Indiana by now, should call them and let them know it all went well, and they could have stayed.

I should add though that we're going to get her cremated and one of the things we had always kinds joked about was loading some shotgun shells full of ashes instead of shot or a slug... Thank you Triple Deuce-chan. It kills me to think though just how much she's going to miss and stuff. I mean she's relatively young, middle aged, and it just all came on so suddenly. The freaky deaky part for me has been that I'm her next of kin, and only child and she was a single mom so I'm kinda dealing with this on my own with the exception of my grandparents. Just so you know the special plastic bag things they put human ashes in are next to impossible to open (that way if you drop the urn the ashes don't go everywhere, unlike on tv) so you may want to request they set a little bit aside for you to load into shells ahead of time.

Limped to Dallas from Muskogee, spoke to a few different places about getting it replaced, struck a bargain, and the guy let us jump the line due to how much shit was in the car and how much needed to get moved so he could get the new tire installed.

Oh, side note.

The brownies we ate this weekend were fantastic. The based as fuck lady who made them is sitting right across from me.

Honestly couldn't have asked for better help this weekend from everyone. There were some people who needed a little extra motivation to get going and police up the areas but I didn't hear any reports of people bitching when we all got together for mini work parties.

All the tripfags were based as fuck as well as many anonymous individuals. Rather than trying to thank each individual person just blanket thanks to everyone who showed up. Dad is pleased with how everything went and is more than happy to have us back for another NuggetFest.
