I'm asking here because I'm guessing most, if not all military guys post on /k/.

Is joining the navy a good idea, if I don't know what I want to do after high-school? I've got shit grades so no hopes for Harvard. But I like the idea of enlisting because it sounds like I'll have a lot of time to think about it, and then get to go for free with a G.I bill.
