>>27702332Rear to front:
The stock pad is too wide, I figure. In stead of the casket shape, I'd make it a regular rectangle.
The stock tube seems okay.
Dust cover, rear sight, top rail assembly is a bit much. I'd work on engineering a less floppy dust cover or alternate way of mounting optics. The SKS and SVD style of holding the dust cover on would be ideal. It seems a bit more solid. Putting the dust cover on rails that would let it slide into place would stiffen up the dist cover enough to put optics directly on. For the iron sight, moving it back was a good option. Making it removable is okay, but it's low enough to keep on without obstructing the sight plane between your eye and the optic you've mounted on the rail.
The grip looks okay, but it looks like it is molded into the trigger guard/mag catch group. This hasn't been a problem with other guns that share this design. I'd put a bit more meat on the fire selector. Round out the trigger area in stead of the low-polygon style.
I have no idea what they are thinking with the mag release. Maybe there's a thumb switch on the opposite side of the gun? I'd go ambidextrous, or go back to the old thumb paddle.
The magazine doesn't need all that plastic cladding.
The charging handle seems a lot smaller. I'd put a little more beef to it, or make it similar to the Galil style.
Foregrips look okay, maybe too much plastic as well. Same with the gas tube. You can tell that's clamshell plastic cladding. Maybe an adjustable gas block? AKs so far have performed well enough without them, though.
Front sight looks okay, but the slimmer older AKM and AK74 front sights did just as well.
Muzzle brake looks like it will do its job.
