Khyber pass is a road in some shitstain middle eastern country that makes and sells arms and armor built with sub-par equipment. Search it on youtube. I dont agree with anon's prognosis, especially if it was forgotten in an attic for a decade. Rare for those to show up in the US.

Looks like a neat piece of tinkerer history, certainly not scrap. Post some good close ups and maybe a field strip.

It COULD be a Viet Cong made pistol brought back after the war, which you do see sometimes. If so you'll have interest from collectors and museums.
