The main things the psl will have on the vepr are legit 10rd mags, the brake, and the cool factor of a real military rifle that appears in a lot of movies/tv shows. It just feels good to see your guns like that.
Onto the rpk. Just don't expect the rpk to automatically be a better shooter than it's equivalent ak with shorter barrel. You'll probably benefit from the longer sight radius when using irons, not so much the rifle being more accurate.
Also, I get a different point of impact depending on whether I'm using the bipod or have it tucked in too. I think you'll need to figure out two points of impact for each method of aiming before you can consider an rpk 100% sighted in.
The regular 74 rifle I scoped is accurate enough, and follows the 54r bdc on the scope pretty well, just in yards instead of meters. I have one of these scopes mounted on a vz58 too, same thing, the golden tiger 762x39 follows the bdc pretty well to 400 yards.
