Duckbill mags are cumbersome, unreliable, and fragile.
Putting a scope on a 7.62x39 rifle is also kind of a waste of time and money, as that caliber looses almost all of its oomph outside 300M.
For the price of a decent SKS in 2015 plus the Tapco "upgrades," you're sitting at right around the price of a WASR, which will do everything you've just "upgraded" your SKS to do better, is sturdier because it's not covered in cheap plastic shit, and doesn't look fucking retarded.
In fact, the only upgrade to my SKS that I've put on it that I don't think is garbage (and yes, I tried to Tapco and realized it fucking sucked and refunded that shit) is a 1" rubber buttpad with holes to accomodate the factory screws and still allow you to use the buttstock compartment. And this is because I find it difficult to sight with the manlet LOP they come with.
I'd also consider the 20rd Chinese fixed mags if I could find one that wasn't offensively expensive.
