If a foreign power occupied your country would you fight back against the invader or submit?

I think most would simply adjust to their new life situation and try to continue on living as normal...
Very very few would actually go innawoods and live off the land, ambushing enemy patrols and waging a guerilla war. Not to mention most would quickly realise life isn't a movie and they perhaps do not possess the skills needed to live of the land or fight a guerilla war.
