CH-53K made its first flight today, the USMC's future heavy lift helicopter. This beauty can haul twice the external load of the old CH-53Es.

V-22 can heavy lift, but not to the extent the CH-53 can. The V-22 is supposed to replace the Marines' ancient CH-46s.

They did. V-22 Crashes are memetic at this point, and do not accurately reflect reality.

The Osprey's biggest limitation for lift is its undersized props and underpowered engines.
