>>27717236You should be able to find a Shield for less than that. Got mine for $380 plus tax a couple weeks ago. People will tell you it's shit just because it's about $200 less than their carry piece but it does the same shit just as well. Never had any failures in mine after a few hundred rounds. Trigger could use some work, but it's not horrible.
Go handle the PPS, it's honestly one of the most ergonomic carry pistols on the market. You're going to want to buy some rubber talon grips to go with it though, because the grip texture is balls. Trigger is pretty great for a striker fired pistol too, made of great materials, great fit and finish.
As for the 938, it'd be best to find one on armslist, you can probably find one for about $600. If you want something brand new, it's probably not that great for that price because at the end of the day, it's just a slim single-stack 9mm
>>27717253.380 is a very controversial round. Some will say that it's not powerful enough to penetrate the amount needed to be a reliable self defense round. Some say it's fine. If you're interested in it, do some research and come to your own conclusions because I'm not trying to start a caliber war here. That being said, my girlfriend carries one, it's a fine little piece. Sturdy, light, no failures, awesome single action trigger
