Do you think Soldiers should be allowed to protest, go on strike, etc?

We're having this issue in the UK right now. One of our soldiers has been given a life sentence for "Murdering" a taliban fighter. He shot the fighter while he was a PoW.

Our military is banned from protesting this but despite that the Royal Marines doing a demonstration march. The military considers this mutiny.

When you're fighting an irregular enemy, it's generally seen as a positive when you can capture one and help put together a better picture of their network.

Even low IED emplacer retard knows at least one other person in the network, and you might get things like drop sites or caches.

technically he didn't break the Geneva convention as signatories don't have to abide by the convention against non signatories who commit the designated war crime, otherwise no one would be a signatory as they would actively be restricting their strategic effectiveness against non signatories. there's a whole section devoted to this to make it clear that people can't take advantage of the signatories.
