I've bought all my guns off armslist. but I've never sold. I usually just pay the offer price and I don't like to haggle. You can find some cool junk on armslist that you can't find in gunstores, even if it is junk.

That said, the one time I decided to haggle and ask for 50 dollars off the gun the guy agreed and offered to throw in a spam can of ammo for 100 dollars.

Was really awesome. I've never met a bad seller on Armlist IMO but it's probably the buyers who are usually assholes.

I recently got a Desert Eagle in .357 for $900, and a P226 DAK for $550.

I've also got some good deals at LGS's/Gunsmiths recently. Picked up a Stevens 200 in .243 with a Bushnell Elite 3500 scope for $320, also got a Restricted S&W Mod 36 for $200 from a local gunsmith.

The site was created because all the other outdoor groups were flooded with ATV's, ammo, scopes, camping gear, etc. And rarely would you find a gun much less be able to sell one.

Nothing legal about it just want to keep it as the name implies which is guns only. You can however trade anything you want for a gun, even hogs if thats your thing.

The worst thing I have ever had was when I sold a couple of bullet molds. Mihecs, so pretty high dollar molds. I documented, took pictures, described weight and size of drops, and all that. Sold them all very quickly at retail (standard for mihecs, they are all group buys and years go between runs)

One guy contacts me three weeks after he got the mold telling me there was a spot of rust on the sprue plate and scratches on the mold's top, and that he was VERY DISAPPOINTED and wanted 50 bucks back or he would post pictures.

So he starts sending me pictures of the mold with marks on it, and they don't look anything like the pictures I posted. Small gouges and freckling on what had been otherwise immaculate.

Not sure if he used it incorrectly or had one he had misused and was trying to fleece me, but I told him he could ship it back to me for a refund or he could shove it. Mihecs hold value stupid well because of the rarity od certain designs, so I guess I called his bluff. Never heard back.

Castboolits has some interesting stuff from time to time (although their mods are trying to kill their classifieds and make everyone pay for vendor sponsorships... this change coming right after someone bought/took over the site) but some of the people on there are fucking weird.
