Too uncomfortable to appendix carry for me. Even with my LC9 it still creates an unnatural bulge on my belt line. Tried appendix on a camping/canoeing trip (only an overnight) and I had to switch to my 8 o'clock (lefty).

Not one of the retards with a round in the chamber though, it's pretty fucking easy for the trigger to snag, and even with safety on I feel sketchy about any pressure on the trigger with round in chamber

As it was already pointed out but an earlier post anything can snag the trigger.

Even if you havent a round chambered its still kinda retarded and uncomfortable...plus its sounds kinda silly to CC without a chambered round

I'm 5'8", 145 lbs and I love carrying appendix, mainly because I am smaller; I feel like everything else prints too badly. Gun disappears and is comfortable, even with a double-stack. Good holster and belt is necessary.

A well-refined and well-practiced drawstroke mitigates the risk of NDing on the draw. Get the gun on target or at least leveled out beginning your trigger press.

Proper reholstering techniques mitigate the risk of NDing at that point in the process. If you think there's a good reason to do a speed reholster without looking as a CCW guy, you're wrong.

If you've got the gun in a well-made holster that covers the trigger guard, there's absolutely no risk of the gun going off.

I'd argue that appendix actually has less risk of an ND than conventional behind-the-hip IWB. Why? Easier to see what's going on as you reholster.

Why AIWB?

- Easy to access in fight.
- Easy to retain in fight.
- Fast.
- If it fits your body type, easy to conceal a full-size gun.

How about no? Don't know about you fatasses, but that shit prints Like a motherfucker for me. Because guess what, it does NOT fit the contours of your body like 4/5 o'clock carry does. Not to mention it digs into my stomach when I'm sitting. Whats the point in carrying in such a way as to make yourself uncomfortable?

I have a P210 that has never had a stoppage, shoots a 1.5in group at 80ft out of a rest, has the best trigger I own and is just dandy - but being a 50yr design with a doctrine that didn't involve a loaded chamber, it doesn't have a firing pin block. It's reliable as fuck, but it's not drop safe, and they're not the same thing.

Anything designed since Bruce Willis bitched about ceramic German pistols though, yeah - no excuse for it not being safe as houses

So again: you can't read or deliberately chose not to.

You probably used a shitty holster if you bothered to try the position at all. Done right it's extremely comfortable, doesn't dig into your stomach (Oh wait, weren't you the one calling people fatasses?), and fits neatly with the curves of your body.

If it doesn't work for you with a well-designed holster (and for some people it doesn't), it doesn't work for you. That doesn't detract at all from the other benefits of the position.

how is that going to happen if you have a Raven concealment Vanguard 2? its sealed around the trigger. you can't even get a pin in it. Its very comfortable. I appendix carry all the time

Yep. Its lowest ride setting allows for a full firing grip and still manages to hide better than the VG2 at low ride. That claw thing does a good job of tucking the gun into your stomach.

I bought the full kit because I had use for another VG2 (I like them as trigger guard sheaths too -- range bags and such), but the upgrade's definitely worth the money.

Soft loop. Way more adjustment possible that way.

The clip is the same one they use on the Eidolon. Best way I can explain it is this: On a scale of 1-10
- The new strut and soft loop design gives you the full range of 1-10 in ride height
- The overhook means you're stuck at either 3 or 7
