>>27737935Well I wish I had the thing to look at it, but is the gas tube just hard to install or does it really not fit? Some friction initially in getting it on is normal. It would loosen up.
For the dust cover, are the wings of the rear sight base back farther than the trunnion? This would cause the dust cover to not fit or be too tight.
Remember if the barrel pin isn't installed on it, it might not headspace properly.
What kind of resistance are you receiving from the bolt? Is it hitting the ejector and stopping? If so, rails might be welded in at the wrong height.
