You'll probably find it called "nimcha" most of the time. It's supposedly not quite correct, but the term has gotten so ingrained that no one is even going to attempt to set the record straight there any time soon. Usually from Morrocco, though the blade may be a European export one.
Be careful about crossing borders with it (or sending it along on its own). There's a decent chance of the grip being rhino horn, which means CITES becomes an issue.
