Hey guys first time hunter here can you help me understand the rules here in Oregon? For example I am located in the Colombia white river area so does that mean that if I get a general elk tag I can hunt anywhere in that area as long as it is a open area where you are allowed to hunt? But if I then scroll down to the controlled hunt section the same white river place is there also which I presume implies I actually need a controlled tag, fuck I have no fucking idea

I have never hunted big game before only upland and waterfowl.
