Except for what they took from the Iraqi army when they turned tail and ran.

The country of manufacture is completely irrelevant in this case since the equipment is so generic and common. When ISIS is seen using something exotic like the VSS en-masse, then claims of outside involvement have will have more substance.

Yeah. That would be because ISIS is made up of Al Qaeda in Syria and Al Qaeda in Iraq. Many of their fighters are in fact Syrian nationals. They're a rebel group that merged with a foreign wing of their organization.
