They work fine, i shoot up to 25 yards just fine with them able to hit soda cans laid sideways (shooting the base).
Oh course i have installed the apex trigger and have worked with this gun a while.
Ive had them on for roughly 3 years now and they still glow just fine.
My only complaint is that my model did not have the option for the lower post to be illuminated. it's just painted white. when shooting from a very dark room into a lighted room i cant see the post, i just have to "float the trituim" and guess. not super accurate but it works.
for those claiming it only to be "marginally faster" than a 3 dot. I disagree. for me at least , with a dot and post or a straight 8 sight, i am MUCH faster at picking up the sight and shooting.
Ive shot many rabbit on the run to prove this.
