Technically yes, but a federal judge once ruled that that was retarded and that a pistol is still a pistol no matter how you hold it, so the ATF is reluctant to bring such a charge to court again lest a precedent be set that is not in their favor. .

Mandatory firearm safety lessons in highschool physical education. It doesn't have to be marksmanship training or even using real guns, just use a prop and teach kids the basic components of firearms and safety protocols.

Any gun law should have a parallel law for the first amendment. Background checks before you buy a gun = background checks for speaking publicly. Magazine cap? = only so many words allowed on the internet. Firearms registry? = all members of a mosque must register with the govt or be shut down.
Then see if the people want it passed

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

That sounds like it makes it constitutional for the gov't to tax income and wealth.
