I've got some steel that it'll just barely go through at 100 yards, probably a 40% max chance even there.
It'll still give that steel a decent dent at 400 yards, but it could probably laugh off at least one more hit on that spot, or it might just barely start cracking at the impact zone.
Really, any impact from an intermediate like 545, 556, or 762x39 looks about identical at that range.
