Remington 700 Etronx. Used an electrically-fired ignition system (pulling the trigger connected the firing pin to a circuit, firing the primer by electricity instead of impact). Extremely fast lock time, but unfortunately for Remington, .220 Swift, .22-250 Rem and .243 weren't the cartridges to introduce a new technology like this in.

Another case of interesting concept but flawed execution. Somewhat more forgiveable in the case of the Voere, because it was European.

This is the Crossfire, a pump-action hybrid shotgun and 5.56 rifle. Was mostly useful for being able to legally take 30-rounders in AWB states.

I watched a discovery channel show about this gun in the early 90s as a kid ( I swear it was in the 90s ) So fucking cool, at least. I have talked to other gun people about it and noone has ever heard about it.
