Eh. I think the AK-12 was all the AK platform needed to really become fully modernized. Hell, an AK-74 with an extended safety and mag release does a pretty damn good job. This just seems like they made it look futuristic for the sake of making it futuristic.

That selector also looks too small to be easy to use. It looks a lot shorter than an AR selector.
