Blanchard has far more evidence and creditability to this theories then Moser ever did. His work was reviewed by a group of scientific peers and he was in the DSM for his work too.

He was in the committee for other reasons. And DSM5 reviewed his typology and rejected for lack of empiric evidence. They eliminated all parts pertaining to it. Other groups have done the same.

His theories aren't viewed as anything more than alt in psychology when that field in itself is viewed as barely credible by the biomedical community.

Mostly for his theories on agp, It was in the DSM then taken out on the next version because angry trans lesbians made a big deal about it and wanted it out. There was more then enough evidence.

What it comes down to is his theories about transsexuals being so controversial that it wasn't allowed to exist. Anything that shows the LGBT in a negative light is shunned no matter how much evidence is there. The trans community denies this existing despite all the evidence to the contrary and even call people claiming to have agp liars. Politics really do ruin everything.

Better question: is it possible to end up taking estrogen or getting mtf like cosmetic procedures because of Auto-androphila or auto-ephebophilia? Not as crazy as it sounds when effeminate twinks taking hormones and stuff to keep their looks is a common enough thing here.
