It doesn't help, because the brain structures everyone keeps pointing people to do not exhibit significant plasticity past the second trimester of pregnancy, and virtually none past the age of 5.
What this means is, your pill needs to rebuild the brain, because hormones can't do it anymore by the time anyone would be taking hormones in the first place.
And any treatment that rebuilds large portions of a largely healthy brain probably should be looked at with a measure of doubt - shit is creepy.
