I'd like to think that at the very least you'd want to get on that for your own sake, or at least look into it. I also make shit money for now, but that's why I'm on a plan paid for by my state. It's not an amazing health plan, but it does cover my Complera meds and 3 month visits for viral tests, other std tests, and some leeway for other things. I even get some dental services and access to a psych counselor (which has been VERY helpful even beyond the HIV side).
It does very based on state and location, but I will say that I live in a consevative state that was dragging it's feet on providing medication coverage to people a couple years ago, so my situation might actually be worse than many.
So bait-kun, even if you can't give give two shits about the people you're fucking with, you can at least care about YOURSELF with your own health and life. And incidentally by being compliant on HAART meds, you'd also be making yourself a safer person to fuck since people with undetectable viral loads are much less likely to spread anything.
