I want to talk about the medical side of transitioning, its future and its politics.
As a medical professional myself, I can't help but wonder about whether its a viable career option for me, seeing as the world moves closer to socialized healthcare and it covers more ailments.
Do you feel transitioning should be funded by tax-payers? How much would you be willing to pay, and for what? Are you aware of the pricings? Will there be patreons to pay for these surgeries and medicines? Do you feel the healthcare industry will exploit trans people unfairly? What of surgeons that refuse service to trans people?
You might be thinking - oh I'll be 19 forever and this won't apply to me -, but without doctors, you will just look like a man in a dress. So this issue is important, even for cis-tax payers.
