Ok im coming out as trans at my uni next week
Ive been on hrt for 2 months now.
What should i expect?

I'd strongly suggest that you reconsider

but otherwise it will be awkward and lonely and some people might befriend you because you're trans and not necessarily because they like you... but trans people are becoming the new gay, so it's getting cool and "hipster" to support us

The only things I do so far is some eye shadow, liner and mascara. Sometimes foundation on areas I need. I already have practically zero friends at college and at home but its still kind of scary to start wearing female clothes. Some of them already say I can pass but since I've known them forever they're a little nice about it to me. I really just wish wearing clothes of the opposite sex wasn't such a big deal for mob mentality.

i think it probably depends on where you live, who old you and your peers are, etc. i came out at 13 in mid-ohio, and so far ive just faced the basic lgbtphobic dickwads that everybody encounters (trans or not), but i also have a very large circle of close friends who are all lgbt except for basically one of them and are all incredibly supportive. then again, im not in uni yet, so it might be a bit different for you.

also, something that i just considered: when i came out, i just had my family tell the school staff/teachers/whatever & i told my friends, but i let everybody else figure it out on their own (unless they straight up ask me if im trans/a guy now/etc.)

If someone is interested, you tell them. If not they might not care or even want to know and it might make things awkward.

If you do want to come out... do it softly and only to close friends and slowly moving from there.
It might be a big thing for you but for others it is not a problem you are the other sex.
