I left home when I was 16 and started seeing a therapist that year. I've been going to the same therapist for 6 years, she didn't send me to see a gender specialist until like a year ago. I just can't fucking keep up with bloodwork and shit like that to start hormones because I'm too exausted to work two jobs anymore. Most of the abuse started when my mom found me dressing up as a kid

I had the same situation. I lived 2 years away from my mother...
..until I restablished contact, talked things out. We hugged, we cried, we are friends now and we live together.

I wish you the same op. "Sexual abuse" or not, your mother probably is your ally. Try to understand her point of view, and realize that what's past cannot be changed.

I'm honest. The things I suffer through trying to transition with careless shrinks, noone to support me and other mental illnesses plus lack of money makes it one hell to walk through. If there'd be a shortcut through someone abusing me, it'd still be a lot more mentally healthy for me. Perhaps I'd be even more inclined myself to pronounce my femininity as to not losethat financial crutch.
I'm asexual so in a way I don't give a damn about sex whether it happens or not.

I think I'll call my mom and actually ask if I can move back in, at least until I get SRS and recover. I dunno why, but that idea never even popped up before I read this thread.

The amount of money I could earn that way just by getting welfare should be more than enough to bring me back on my feet.
