Does E affect you emotionally?
Did anyone on E notice changes in their behavior after taking it?

It did for me. Where I used to kick doors and whatnot cause of sudden surges of anger, I now just feel defeated and sit down to get back to my senses.
Likewise I feel more vulnerable than ever to any form of abuse, even in text, but I can also involve myself into activities much more emotionally, which is nice.

It never really gave me mood swings or anything, but it has definitely intensified every mood I get into, and most feelings in general. It really helps me feel like a person now that I can react to things instead of just feeling like whatever all the time.

I have mood swings, my sex drive is very low, and I cry sometimes. But overall there's a feeling of clarity and balance that I've never had before, like if my brain was always intended to run on estrogen. I still feel depressed sometimes but it's not utter hopeless like it used to be.

Saying hormones change your personality isn't exactly accurate imo. Like they definitely affect your emotional response across the spectrum but any real personality changes probably just come from settling into the gender roles of your target gender. If your personality changed that much then it's probably because you didn't have much of one to begin with (and I'm not saying that in an insulting way, I definitely filled in some blanks over the course of transitioning).
