>>5134206It is pretty much this, the only reason anyone would need to know your sexual orientation is if they are interested in dating you or hooking up with you, otherwise it is just their curiosity, and telling them doesn't gain much. But yeah, having those labels helps a ton in communicating and letting people know if you're willing to date them.
