Brianna "Wu" was Brianna Flynt and basic info digging will reveal that she has ties with the Larry Flynt family (her parents gave her 200k when she was 20 so she could start her own business, she has tons of high connections, she's clearly from a wealthy family). Inb4 tinfoil hat, this is painfully obvious if you read her story as told by herself.
The reason Wikipedia doesn't have a souce is because Wu herself never admits to being trans. She speaks a lot about trans issues, but never says that she IS trans. This, in turn, is clearly because her whole schtick is being a persecuted woman in gaming, and she does know that for many mainstream people, being trans means she's not a "real" woman. So she hides it. She also hides being wealthy because, again, it would diminish the "persecuted" part of her persona.
Without she saying she's trans, no mainstream sources can back it up, so it can't be put in her Wikipedia article, which is also obviously heavily, heavily monitored by her. It's quite simple, really.
