And when you take into account all of human history, that's a lot of asexuals. It's very likely that at some point someone was killed for being asexual (even if "asexual" as an orientation wasn't a concept at the time). This sort of thing seems especially likely to happen to asexual women in very traditional societies, where reproduction was seen as the only point of a woman; a woman unwilling to have sex with men would be seen as defective and a waste of oxygen. Sure, it's far worse for gay men and trans people. But it's a stretch to claim that NO asexual has ever been killed for their sexual orientation.
