how do I learn to be okay with being gay? I grew up in a really religious household and had homophobic parents hovering over me constantly. now I'm 25 and coming to terms with being gay, even though I've known for so long. it just sucks because when I'm in public, I hide so far in my closet that I even try to convince myself I'm not.
