In the desert a seed will turn into dust and if there are a lot of birds around it'll turn into feces. You're just going to say that the normal conditions of a seed are in the ground where it's rainy at regular, stable intervals, but there's nothing "normal" about that. A seed could definitely turn into bacon or your sister if it was eaten and processed by the digestive systems of a pig or human being that just happened to be your sister. And many seeds do this. It seems quite normal for this to happen based on any definition of normal that makes sense.
