I have allocated a certain amount of time a day in to my schedule to make sure I have enough time to read as well.
If I sat in front of a page for an hour without writing I just would not do it.

I'm averaging a short story every week sometimes two if they are shorter than normal. I live and work at a remote roadhouse in the Australian desert and my stories are loosely based on m life out here with the truckies, boongs and drifters who pass through.
