"true love" is basically a cheap fraud meant to justify marriage after the sexual liberation. It's not even a coherent idea. Is it supposed to be unconditional? What if they cheat on you with 30 people? Is it supposed to be more pure and extraordinary than non-true love? Then why is it founded on a contracted state of monogamy? Is it supposed to be fate, destiny? You only have to have a few dates under your belt to find that stupid.
If there's something called true love it's much closer to the love old couples have or the love you have for your family. (Sex almost seems to undermine love, explosive OMG I LOVE U sex apart, which sex is short lived. )
Sorry for the rant but it drives me crazy that people find "true love" a realistic, attainable and worth-while goal.
