Wat? Politics is probably the most social skill dependent profession in society; the entire job just amounts to empathizing with people in order to understand how they'll act both individual and as part of organizations. STEM is not only completely useless for this (because people are too complicated to be readily understood using the reductionism that science uses) but is probably a hindrance because of the opportunity cost of spending years inflicting yourself with autism from science education instead of studying how people interact and practicing social skills.
