Hey /lit/ I'm a somewhat experienced writer whose completed two novels. I'm working on a new book and I really just want to know if it's too experimental and weird to be any good. I was inspired to write it after spending some time on the bay12games forums. For the normies among us bay12 are the creators of the excellent game 'dwarf fortress'. The uber-nerds on the forum really interested me as people. One guy who wrote a really helpful guide kept alluding to 'mounting personal troubles'. The book is this. A vaguely autistic weirdo gives information about a planet from a made up lore for the length of a novel. He's disturbingly aware of the planets history and cultures. We learn very little about him but the ending implies that whatever condition he has has worsened. Thoughts?
