They may have missed the mark in many areas, but they were clearly willing to fight for their beliefs. Do you not think that the lack of passion in postmodern abstract art didn't have any impact on American minds through and after Vietnam, when we, through our own lack of belief in the cause, allowed communists to conquer, and send over a million people to reeducation camps? Do you think it had no negative impact on our society, or the world at large?
