Where do I go to find good critique? Where do you guys go? I'm going out of my mind here.

I took a class. There's no way to put this that won't sound edgy, so fuck it: You guys lied to me. My peers were idiots - literal idiots - except for one guy, who did give me some valuable insight and feedback which I appreciate deeply. I gave every single one of them an almost line-by-line close reading with specific praise and criticism, technical advice, narrative questions, and so on, and well over half of them didn't even read my story.

Anyway, yeah. One fucking guy. Even the professor didn't give a shit, although I don't blame him, since he has hundreds (if not thousands) of pages of student writing to barrel through every semester.

So where do I go now? A professional editor? I don't even know. Why is it so hard to find a writing bro?
